A challenge we all face is successfully navigating major life transitions… how do you get from ‘here’ to ‘there’? For me the answer was to have the opportunity to partner with an exceptional Coach, Greg Galifianakis.
I needed help to refocus my priorities toward the next chapter of my life (retirement), after struggling for many years to disengage from a long-term workaholic lifestyle. Coaching provided me with the skills to visualize, reassess, and realign my priorities toward the challenge of ‘imagining’ and then ‘creating’ my happiest life in retirement. Greg openly shared his own life trials and challenges which bolstered my confidence in overcoming the natural inertia of personal change. He offered empathy, compassion, drive, and honesty in all of our coaching discussions, which allowed me to then surface and address my own fears and self-doubts. Just after the Covid-19 lockdown in March 2020, our holistic healing services and products business had come to a standstill. Through our search for something that would help us move our business forward, we found Gria Consulting. We went to our first meeting with Gia expecting a barrage of questions about marketing, financial forecasts and to come away with a plan of action for getting a loan. Gia discussed all of these points with us and more! She took away our fears and helped us understand that raising capital and changing direction with product sales was attainable. We had the drive and the determination, but we were so frustrated at the lack of progress and just couldn't see any other way of doing things.
Our sessions with Gia seemed to challenge our business beliefs in a positive way and at every step of the way the solutions came from us. Not once did Gia say that we should do this or that or compromise our vision or authenticity. Her suggestions were completely in sync with our goals. Every idea was well thought through. It’s amazing how Gia can pick up on the important points and then repeat them back without you realizing that you said them yourself.
